Boxing hares! Would love to see it in person (those hares and real boxing hares). I don't know why, but I never before noticed the beautiful crest detailing on thatched rooftops until I saw them in your photographs. Perhaps because I tended to look at the bottom edge of the roofing where it's possible to see how thick the thatch is layered. Amazing craftsmanship.
Hmm ... is that a common sight in Suffolk? I am loving the thatched roof!
