I'm aware that this particular strain of of the cold is extremely dangerous, and I'd like to take things easy today, but I can't. I have to go out, which is stupid and puts me and other men at risk, but I have to do it.
I'm feeling very weak at the moment, but I'll try and keep you up-dated on the situation. Thanks for all your emails of support.
Tim, you have my deepest sympathy, i have had this so called man flu off and on now for months, my wife swears it is only a cold and insists that i carry on as usual, but like you say if we venture out whilst in this condition we are only infecting other men and in turn getting re-infected ourselves, why dont these women understand that if we where allowed to languish at home for a few days being waited on hand and foot we might get better ! get well soon.

ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if Mrs. Opart has offered to crack open a window yet? You know, just for fresh air.
The non-word word/code your site required me to type in so that I could post my last comment was MENCENTH, perhaps as in, "Oh no, Tim caught that manflu for the mencenth time!"
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon!
