Garden Gate - Tim Irving |
The one I'm using is a Standard Rolleiflex made in 1933 and it never ceases to amaze me how good it is to use. Despite it being nearly eight years old it's a very modern camera that's simple to use. I apologise for the Bluebells, cliched and hackneyed as they are I still enjoy the site of them.
Thanks for the bluebells Tim, cliched or not i am still looking for a decent patch to photograph for my blog, the old rollei looks to still be doin the business and it looks like a lens wide open again, is this becoming your trademark ?.
ReplyDeleteThe bluebells' straight greenery are a perfect side dish to the grand, black curves of the iron gate. The spider web deletes any cliche and adds to the sense of peering into a smaller world. I like it, a lovely photo with a just right dose of blue.
ReplyDeleteI love bluebells, and with the gray skies and rain we've been having forever (wettest April in 8 yrs), they are a welcome sight, even if only by way of a picture.
ReplyDeletewonderful photo. love the details and color tone.
