Grass as Art

Lives of Grass by Mathilde Roussel, courtesy of the artist. Photograph: Matthieu Raffard
I'm intrigued by this piece by french artist Mathilde Rousse. Great inventiveness and wonderful drama for a sculpture. I left the show thinking anything is possible!

  1. Oh, love it! I also love what you say about walking away from the show thinking anything is possible. That is an inspiration I often come away with after viewing contemporary mixed media art. The way information and materials filter through the minds and hands of individual artists seems to be infinite. And that gives me hope for myself. Those sculptures won't be replicated by you or by me or by other viewers, but who knows what future endeavors they might spark in us, just for having seen them.
