So I just had to read up on him a bit, and so sorry to learn he had such rough years and such suffering at the end. I didn't know he was also a photographer. By the time I started paying close attention to films, Dennis Hopper was pretty much out of the limelight in my little world (though I did know his name). I only just watched Easy Rider less than two years ago. I can see why it was ground breaking for the times, but. . . not for me. I knew nothing about the story, so the ending was quite a shocker, very disturbing. Still I'm glad to have seen it because Jack Nicholson's performance was awesome. Just awesome.
